At Adirondack Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
* Assist healthcare teams in providing patient care that follows the Patient Centered Medical Home model
* Prepare exam/treatment rooms and prepare patients for examinations
* Take vital signs, weights, and heights
* Maintain daily functioning of the Health Care Center according to established policies and procedures
Requirements:
* High School Diploma required
* MOA Certification/AAS Degree preferred
* Minimum of one year experience in working in a family practice setting as a receptionist or medical office assistant preferred
* Will be required to take the BLS course
