Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Nutrition Services Associate to join our team at St. Croix Health. As a key member of our nutrition services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe preparation and delivery of patient meals, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our patients and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine meal production levels and adjust as necessary to meet patient needs
  • Prepare meals by following recipes and maintaining accurate production records
  • Operate the Point of Sales system and accurately charge guests
  • Count and record cash drawer counts at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Set up, deliver, and retrieve patient trays in a timely and efficient manner
  • Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving
  • Fulfill stock orders and maintain inventory levels
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the nutrition services department
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; ServSafe certification within six months of hire
  • Prior food service experience required
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands and priorities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
