We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with self-administration of medications and provide medication administration training as needed
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Help residents maintain a clean and safe environment, including preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Obtain vital signs accurately and report changes in resident health status
- Follow OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections and maintain a safe working environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of medication administration training program and competencies per state guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
