Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Acute Care Unit team at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with medical providers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by medical providers.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse with Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
