Swim Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching others to swim? Do you enjoy working with children and adults alike? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Boston.

The Swim Instructor will be responsible for teaching swim lessons to members of all ages and skill levels. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our community members while also developing your teaching and leadership skills.

• Teach swim lessons to members of all ages and skill levels
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of our members
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all members
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in swim instruction

• At least 16 years of age
• No experience necessary, but prior experience teaching swim lessons is preferred
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
