Job Title: RN Float Pool

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Southcoast Health. As a Float Pool RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The RN Float Pool Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Participate in patient and family education, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Three (3) months experience preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
