Job Summary

Bell Ambulance is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation to patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client care by utilizing diagnostic tools and treatment modalities based on assessment and protocols.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, their families, and the healthcare community.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations and quality care.
  • Document trips accurately and completely, both clinically and demographically.
  • Perform regular station and squad maintenance to ensure safety.
  • Participate in the pit stop process to ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are present and in good working order.
  • Obtain and maintain all required licensures and training for the State of Wisconsin.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and demonstrate knowledge of proper driving procedures and response tactics.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Current/valid State of Wisconsin Paramedic license.
  • Current/valid American Heart Association CPR card or similar curriculum certification.
  • Current/valid Driver's License.
  • NREMT license desirable but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Paramedic role.
  • Critical Care accreditation highly desirable.
Additional Requirements
  • Perform with a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and possess tact and patience.
  • Ability to function productively in individual and team environments, and in potentially highly stressful situations.
  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 125 pounds safely.

Bell Ambulance offers a competitive wage and exceptional benefits. Compensation details include a 26.5 hourly wage.
