About the Role

The OSP Construction Inspector will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of outside plant facilities for telecommunications networks. This critical role will ensure that all work is completed according to industry standards and specifications, and will work closely with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the construction and installation of outside plant facilities for telecommunications networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Work closely with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure that work meets standards and specifications.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during construction.
  • Ensure construction crews are clearly identified as contractors for Ezee Fiber, including vest, ID Badges and vehicle magnets.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all construction activities.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management and other stakeholders as required.
  • Communicate with all peers and departments to ensure proper project planning.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in OSP construction and installation
  • Knowledge of industry standards and specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
