Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Healogics, the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States. As a Wound Care Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and handle intake and discharge processes for Wound Care Center patients as scheduled
  • May serve as a Case Manager to a group of assigned Wound Care Center patients, as assigned and depending on the Wound Care Center setup
  • Perform initial nursing assessments, communicate findings with assigned physicians, and assess wound stages and measurements
  • Document care plans, evaluate patient status in regards to desired outcomes, and identify patient care situations that require intervention
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, provide education to patients or caregivers, and serve as a patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of patient care
  • Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy-related duties as assigned, upon completion of Healogics hyperbaric training
Requirements
  • Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current RN license in the state of practice - to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Medical Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care Certification preferred
  • Wound care experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare
  • Interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation skills and ability to translate complex technical terms in laymen's terms
  • Customer service skills and follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Teaching skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work on multiple tasks at the same time
  • Ability to work with others and in a team environment
  • Ability to stay calm in all situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of computerized nursing systems
Compensation

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $38.87-$49.98 Per Hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography, as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
