Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in New Jersey.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, safe, and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
  • Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
  • Operate ancillary equipment, anticipate, and obtain catheters, wires, and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
  • Maintain a high level of patient care by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current License in good standing.
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
  • Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
