We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infection Preventionist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective infection control practices throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines
  • Prepare and submit quarterly reports to the Pharmacy/Infection Control Meetings
  • Submit monthly Infection Control Reports to the Administrator and Director of Nursing

Requirements:

  • NYS Licensed Registered Nurse
  • CPR Certification preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk around the unit
