Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including medication administration and wound care.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment in the operating room, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current RN license in our state
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- Experience in an operating room setting, preferably with a focus on cardiovascular or thoracic surgery
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
