Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Cook to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Jefferson Hills. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals for our residents and assisting the Food Service Coordinator in managing food service functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare meals for residents in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
  • Assist the Food Service Coordinator in managing food service functions
  • Provide a setting that is clean, safe, and comfortable while serving food that is appetizing and nutritious
  • Interact with residents and families in a professional and sensitive manner
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
  • Food Service Sanitation certificate, as per State/Local requirements
Physical Demands

The Cook will be required to stand for prolonged periods, sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis. The position also requires full use of gross and fine motor skills of the upper and lower extremities.
