About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Solvista Health. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of our facilities, equipment, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure the optimal performance of our facilities and equipment.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Safety Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Budgeting and Procurement: Manage the maintenance budget, procuring supplies and services as needed to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA and other industry-specific requirements.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of our facilities, including repairs, renovations, and upgrades, to ensure they remain safe, clean, and functional.
  • Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring that our team is prepared to respond to any situation that may arise.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including staff, residents, and external partners, to ensure that maintenance needs are met and that our facilities are running smoothly.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role, with at least 1+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, safety regulations, and budgeting principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, engineering) preferred.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to the elements and potential hazards. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces.
