About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead our tax advisory services team and provide exceptional client service to our clients. As a Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage client relationships, represent our firm in the professional and business community, and contribute to our technical guidance for internal and external publication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax advisory services, tax compliance, and tax provision for pass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services, technology, and financial institutions.
  • Develop and build client relationships, helping to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Represent Forvis Mazars in the professional and business community, participating in industry events and conferences.
  • Contribute to the proposal process for prospective clients, developing and presenting proposals that showcase our firm's expertise and value proposition.
  • Assist with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff, helping to build a high-performing team that delivers exceptional results.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax, including technical tax consulting and research.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree.
