Role Overview
Under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse (RN), the Patient Safety Attendant is responsible for providing individualized observation and conducting regular safety checks for patients identified as being at risk for self-harm, falls, or wandering. This role is critical in ensuring patient safety throughout the assigned shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or patient support environment is preferred.
