Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Convergence Medical Staffing is a leading provider of medical staffing solutions, offering a range of opportunities for healthcare professionals. We are currently seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at New Ulm Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound, radiography, and fluoroscopy. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound, radiography, and fluoroscopy
  • Operate imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and X-ray units
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
