Job Summary
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Software Assurance and Operations team in Indianola, PA. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading verification planning, architecting test automation strategies, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our medical device software.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead verification planning and architect test automation strategies for complex medical device development projects
- Verify and validate embedded and application software using test automation for complex system interactions in medical devices
- Design and develop automation verification protocols for the design and development of class-2 medical devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to support FDA design controls and computer system validation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent degree, plus two years of experience in a related position
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent degree, plus one year of experience in a related position
- One year of experience in software development engineer in test (SDET) in a regulated industry, verifying and integrating software for complex projects
- Programming languages: C, C#, Python, VB Script, Shell scripting
- Communication protocols: CANOpen-Cia425, Transmission Control Protocol /Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
- Tools and Technologies: DICOM, HL7, MIRTH Connect
Preferred Qualifications
- DevOps environment and tools: Jenkins, Amazon Web Services, Jira, Git/GitHub/Rational Team Concert
- Working in a matrix/hybrid organization structure with cross-functional leadership skills
- Electronic test management tools: Rational Quality Manager (RQM)
- Requirement management tool: Doors Next Gen (DNG)
- Software configuration/version control: MKS
- Database testing: MySQL, SQL Server, SQL or MongoDB
- Rest API testing
- Automation framework: Tricentis Tosca
