Bowling Lane Technician Job Description

As a Bowling Lane Technician with BNEG, a typical day might include the following responsibilities:

• Maintain, clean, and sweep bowling lanes to ensure optimal playing conditions.
• Correct pin jams in bowling equipment to prevent disruptions and ensure a smooth game experience.
• Communicate issues to the head mechanic verbally and/or in writing to ensure prompt resolution.
• Perform general and bio clean-ups to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties may be assigned based on venue requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience in bowling technician, pin chaser, or similar roles.
• Self-motivation and comfort working independently.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with managers, customers, and co-workers.
• A neat and professional appearance, with the ability to get dirty when needed.
• Teamwork skills to collaborate with other staff members.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently.

Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours

• May be required to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Part-time position with non-typical hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday availability are a must.
