The Lead Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth commercial credit evaluations and suggesting suitable credit frameworks for intricate credit engagements, adhering to established policies and strategic objectives.
This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service and responsiveness to both clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities1. Conduct thorough analysis of diverse financial statements and develop cash flow assessments.
2. Evaluate financial documents and provide insightful analysis to inform lending decisions.
3. Assess new funding applications, renewals, and modifications.
4. Review existing credit accounts as part of the institution's ongoing portfolio oversight.
This includes evaluations of mortgages and investments, as well as assisting in the annual portfolio review reports presented to senior leadership and various committees.
5. Collaborate with credit team members, loan officers, and other departments regularly, showcasing effective communication and teamwork skills.
6. Assist with special initiatives within the Credit Analysis Division as needed.7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards in all tasks performed.
The Lead Credit Risk Analyst is dedicated to providing the highest level of service and responsiveness to clients and colleagues.
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree along with specialized training is essential.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in credit-related roles is necessary.
Additional Skills:
Demonstrated expertise in commercial credit evaluation, including the ability to assess repayment capabilities, evaluate risks, identify mitigation strategies, and deliver comprehensive insights into the creditworthiness of commercial clients.
Proficient understanding of accounting principles and commercial loan documentation is required.
Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities, is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new software applications, including the institution's Commercial Loan Origination System.
