Currently Seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant

As a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant at Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise, you will collaborate with physical therapists to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed, and personalized rehabilitation programs. Your responsibilities will encompass assessment, treatment planning, implementation, education, and communication, all aimed at facilitating optimal recovery and health for our patients. You will primarily manage orthopedic cases, along with a diverse range of sports medicine and musculoskeletal conditions, including vestibular issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support physical therapists in delivering direct patient care according to established treatment plans.
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and dressing as needed.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in accordance with defined care standards.
  • Develop fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs; encourage healthy lifestyles by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Document patient care activities using electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement initiatives, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
