Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Residence Toledo Maumee. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are clean and comfortable for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

About the Role:

  • Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are clean and tidy, meeting high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify any areas for improvement.
  • Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of housekeeping operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including cleaning schedules and supply usage.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, with a focus on housekeeping or customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately record and report data.
