We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team at Swift Recon. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for accurately assessing damaged vehicles, preparing estimates, and supporting documentation for clients.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Assessment: Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage.
- Estimate Preparation: Prepare supporting documentation for estimates, including taking photographs, OEM position statements, completing forms, and other tasks required by clients, insurance, and fleet companies.
- Repair Cost Analysis: Determine cost-effectiveness of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
- Communication: Maintain an open line of communication with clients through all phases of the collision repair process.
- Schedule Management: Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during, and after the completion of repairs.
- Experience: 2-5+ years of collision estimating experience.
- Skills: Proven organizational skills, ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with strong attention to detail, and working knowledge of CCC estimating platform and other management systems.
- Education: Not specified.
- Monday - Friday Schedule: Work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, 8 am to 5 pm.
