Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Summer School Nurse to provide general health care services to students within the Hartford Public School system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide health care services to students, including administering medications and performing basic first aid.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably in a school health environment.
  • Knowledge of school health procedures and federal and state regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a per-diem position with regular hours based on student enrollment. The nurse will be required to work at various school locations throughout the district.
