- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhancement.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program and current Texas licensure required.
- Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric, or medical/surgical nursing preferred.
- Knowledge of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
- Ability to model a service attitude, take ownership in solving problems, and take the initiative to make things better.
- Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, and tactfully in all situations.
- $2 shift differential.
- Three-day weekend, every other week.
