About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using digital equipment and maintain accurate records of patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the proper use of RIS systems
- Possess strong communication skills and provide empathetic care to patients from diverse backgrounds
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management, including maintaining knowledge of new technologies and procedures
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
1. A Certificate of Training in Radiologic Technology Program or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution
2. Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board
3. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
