We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities- Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients, ensuring efficient flow of care and effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Manage patient admissions, testing, and discharges, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, and instruct patients and families on medication management and treatment plans.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when necessary, and provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate degree in Nursing or higher.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - ACLS & PALS certification.
