Join Our Team as a Caregiver in Elgin

We are seeking a reliable and experienced caregiver to provide companionship and mobility assistance to a client in Elgin. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to redirect a client with dementia and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and mobility assistance to the client
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
  • Follow the care plan and record daily tasks
  • Be punctual and reliable

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience with dementia care
  • Proven ability to redirect a client with dementia
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work 1:45pm-9:15pm on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday
  • Pass national background check and drug screen
