Position Overview

This role presents a significant opportunity for the selected candidate to collaborate with executive leadership in pinpointing avenues for enhanced scalability, profitability, and the effective execution of our operational model. Key responsibilities encompass new business quoting, profitability assessments, variance analysis, invoicing, and comprehensive reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company's production expenses, which includes establishing and monitoring standard costs, investigating operational variances, and identifying opportunities for enhancements and efficiencies.
  • Lead the company's product pricing strategies, quoting processes, and financial modeling methodologies.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company's product input costs and play a crucial role in optimizing and shaping these costs through vendor collaboration and negotiation.
  • Track and analyze material costs and purchase price variances for all production inputs.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), including Bill of Materials (BOM) and router development, maintenance, and periodic updates.
  • Build collaborative relationships with accounting, business leaders, and executives to identify the appropriate metrics and KPIs that support Sales, Quality, and Operations.
  • Establish structured processes for the regular analysis and review of pricing and profitability, as well as on an ad hoc basis as required.
  • Assist the company with ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to ensure timely adjustments to resource allocation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Accounting or Manufacturing Finance is required.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and/or financial analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of management.
  • Strong mathematical abilities, including the capacity to perform calculations in various units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced environment with internal deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, along with proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $110,000 annually, with compensation aligned to the level of knowledge, education, skills, and experience relevant to the role.
