About the Job

The Retail Sales Associate Lead plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing donations for the sales floor and assisting customers with purchases. As the primary cashier, you will be responsible for cash handling, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our donors and shoppers.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service, working well under minimal supervision, and maintaining a tidy sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly priced and displayed
  • Operate a cash register accurately, handling customer transactions and managing cash effectively
  • Prepare donations for the sales floor, sorting, pricing, and displaying items in an attractive manner
  • Ensure quality control of merchandise, identifying and separating unsellable items for salvage

Requirements

To be successful as a Retail Sales Associate Lead, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail, cash handling, or customer service experience a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum, frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Regularly required to stand for extended periods, walk, reach with hands/arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, push or pull
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Estimated Salary: $15.45 per hour.
