Job Overview:
New Transitions, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to become a vital part of our healthcare team. In this role, you will support patients with their everyday living requirements, deliver empathetic care, and enhance their overall quality of life. Your duties will include monitoring vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, and collaborating with medical staff. The perfect candidate will be compassionate, dependable, and committed to advocating for their patients.
Work Schedule:
Overnight shifts: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
7 days on, followed by 7 days off
Mandatory weekend shifts every other week
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living tasks
- Support personal hygiene and dressing needs
- Help with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Provide supplementary patient care
- Monitor nutritional intake
- Track vital signs
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- First aid and CPR certification
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to follow health and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Ability to work independently
- Compassionate, respectful, and ethical demeanor
