Job Summary:
The Residential Ambassador is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and guests. This includes welcoming and engaging with individuals in person and by phone, preparing and processing application packages, and ensuring a seamless leasing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains a detailed knowledge of the apartment community, amenities, and services.
- Provides daily inspections of show apartments and model appearance.
- Handles all aspects of leasing apartments, including greeting prospective residents, touring the community, and closing sales.
- Accurately completes market surveys and maintains an acceptable closing ratio.
- Collects and secures rental payments, and produces reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assists in marketing efforts, monitors advertising accuracy, and documents traffic marketing sources.
- Posts to advertising sources daily and maintains organized community office files.
- Maintains working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
- Assists in inspections of vacant apartments and prepares them for move-in.
- Promotes resident retention through the renewal program.
- Reports any observed maintenance problems and adheres to company safety policies.
Requirements:
- High School education or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and Word.
- Previous apartment leasing or sales experience.
- Mathematical skills to calculate pro-rations.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
