At Sea Box, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our company's fleet of fork trucks, road trucks, and shop machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with shop personnel to maintain building and equipment items, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Work closely with the Equipment Maintenance Manager to identify and address any maintenance-related issues or concerns.
- Participate in the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Equipment Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance or related heavy equipment maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols, with a focus on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift production objects of up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
