Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with shop personnel to maintain building and equipment items, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Work closely with the Equipment Maintenance Manager to identify and address any maintenance-related issues or concerns.
  • Participate in the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and profitability.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Equipment Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance or related heavy equipment maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols, with a focus on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lift production objects of up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
