We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead our coating line operations at Precoat Metals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, technical manufacturing knowledge, and experience in plant production or maintenance.
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for driving Safety and Quality by directing and coordinating production activities, including day-to-day operations, warehousing, shipping, and receiving.
You will work closely with the plant management team to develop and implement production and quality control standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Review production orders and schedules to plan coating line operations, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate supervisory personnel to achieve production goals, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and implement standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with product specifications.
- Process Improvement: Analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to optimize production output and quality.
- Employee Development: Train and develop foremen in SOPs and production methods, ensuring a skilled and knowledgeable team.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and technical manufacturing knowledge.
- Experience in plant production or maintenance.
- Ability to analyze production reports and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
