Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited institution with an MA or M.S. in communication disorders recognized by ASHA and the state board.
  • Current licensure and/or registration as a Speech Language Pathologist in the applicable state is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech therapy evaluations as directed by medical orders.
  • Accurately document findings using standardized evaluation formats while adhering to all guidelines.
  • Develop a comprehensive treatment plan that includes long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, treatment modalities, therapeutic interventions, and clinical guidelines.
  • Ensure medical orders are secured for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
  • Deliver comprehensive patient treatment utilizing appropriate modalities and adjust treatment as necessary while following precautions.

Work Environments: Outpatient, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, inpatient settings, clinics, nursing homes, acute care, hospitals.

Compensation: USD $42.50 per hour.
