General Summary: The Bartender is tasked with the preparation, garnishing, and serving of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with the standards set by Saddle & Cycle Club for its Members and Guests. This role includes providing both bar and table service, taking orders for food and drinks, delivering them to tables, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
● Welcome each guest warmly with eye contact, a smile, and professional demeanor.
● Provide food and beverage menus and respond to inquiries.
● Serve iced water and recommend menu items.
● Relay orders to the kitchen, ensuring any special requests are communicated.
● Deliver food and drinks promptly and courteously, offering insights on daily specials and wine options.
● Confirm that food is prepared to satisfaction and address any issues with the kitchen.
● Clear tables and reset them with appropriate utensils after each course.
● Mix and serve drinks accurately and efficiently, ensuring a high standard of service.
● Collect payments from guests for food and beverage services.
● Respond promptly to requests from guests and management in a friendly manner.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area while providing attentive service.
● Report any complaints to management as they arise.
● Keep track of liquor, beer, and wine inventory to ensure availability.
● Follow company policies and procedures regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.

Required Skills:
● Strong customer service abilities with a welcoming attitude.
● Professional appearance and demeanor.
● Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

Work Environment: This position is set in a fast-paced indoor atmosphere, which may be hot, humid, and occasionally noisy.

Physical Requirements: The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, reaching, bending, and lifting trays of food weighing up to 50 pounds. The employee must be capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Communication Skills: Ability to hear and understand conversations and express ideas clearly to guests and team members.
