Job Title: Cashier Specialist

Salary: $12-$15 per hour based on experience, plus tips and meal discounts.

Job Description: As a cashier specialist at Buffalo Luke's, you will be responsible for managing all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately. Your main responsibilities will include accepting payments, providing receipts, and ensuring all transactions run smoothly. You will also interact with customers in a friendly manner, provide assistance when needed, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Record customer orders into the POS System, ensuring each and every request is fully and accurately entered
  • Repeat the order back to the customer before sending it to the kitchen
  • Informing kitchen staff, through the POS System or verbal communication, of customer special requests/adjustments.
  • Identify customer issues/complaints and report to the manager
  • Perform returns and special transactions through the POS System
  • Keep the "register station" stocked with all necessary items
  • Clean and organize the customer area when necessary

Requirements: To be successful as a cashier specialist, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess basic math skills. Previous experience working with cash registers and POS Systems is an advantage.
