About the Role

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Emergency Department team to ensure the delivery of safe, quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and staff engagement.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based solutions.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role in an acute care setting.
  • Proven track record of improving patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and staff engagement.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
