Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse at AdventHealth Waterman Home Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that are goal-directed and based on patient needs and standards of care.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care.
  • Supervise and delegate care given by members of the healthcare team.
  • Record patient care, condition, and interventions in the medical record in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Participate in departmental or hospital performance improvement activities.
  • Utilize equipment and supplies in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Provide patient and family education and training based on each patient's needs and abilities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a School of Nursing, Associates Degree or Diploma.
  • BSN or Bachelor in Healthcare related field.
  • MSN or Masters in Healthcare related field.
  • Current Florida RN license or if New graduate, offer contingent on passing NCLEX.
  • AHA ACLS certification at time of hire for ED, ICU, CVICU, PCU, OR, PACU, MED/SURG Observation Unit, Endoscopy, and Surgical Services, Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery and Nursery Dept., Cardio DI, Cardiac Pulmonary Rehab.
  • AHA NRP certification for Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery and Nursery Dept.
  • AHA PALS certification for ED, Pediatrics, PACU.
