Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at the Veterans Canteen Service in Topeka, KS.

As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service in our cafes and retail markets. You will work in a fast-paced environment, preparing and serving food to our customers, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

• Prepare and cook food to high standards
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work effectively as part of a team

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and perform basic arithmetic used in food preparation
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in the food service industry
• Requires constant standing, walking, and frequent bending
• Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted
