Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients using ionizing radiation-producing equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions, including patient reactions and radiation dosages.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program.
  • Current licensure in radiation therapy technology and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 1-year experience as a radiation therapist preferred.
