Janitorial Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at Golden State Foods. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our distribution center building and grounds.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the warehouse floor is clean and free of debris using manual and electric-powered equipment.
2. Maintain the cleanliness of the parking lot, shipping/receiving docks, and fence line.
3. Collect and dispose of waste materials, including recyclables.
4. Keep the break room and supply cabinets organized and stocked.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
2. Knowledge of sanitation and janitorial concepts and techniques.
3. Ability to safely operate an electric rider pallet jack and pass forklift certification.
4. Physical ability to stand, walk, and twist while carrying up to 50 lbs.
5. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent temperature changes. The ability to work in a cold environment is essential.
