Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide rehabilitation services to patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. Your primary goal will be to optimize patient independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients using a wide range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of function and developmental disorders.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs of patients.
  • Promote patient self-determination by optimizing resource utilization and achieving the highest level of independence.
  • Coordinate with various disciplines and services involved in patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective discharge planning.
  • Advocate for patients and their families, addressing their needs and concerns.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited school of occupational therapy.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation skills.
  • Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and a valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
  • Candidate must be vaccinated.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply, and SNF experience is preferred.
