We are in search of a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Neuro IMU unit to ensure we continue delivering high-quality, efficient care to all patients.
Our dedicated team thrives on mutual support, and we are looking for a remarkable addition who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prioritize care tailored to the age and specialty needs of each patient, ensuring effective communication with relevant healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough age-appropriate physical and psychosocial assessments, gathering nursing history to identify care needs.
- Assess patient and family responses to care, adjusting the care plan as necessary.
- Implement and direct care using the nursing process, focusing on the unique needs of Telemetry patients.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary care coordination through open communication with patients, nursing staff, physicians, and other stakeholders involved in patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care environment preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Texas RN License must be obtained within 90 days for those with a Compact License).
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.- ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
