Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Tyonek Native Corporation. As an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of aircraft systems, including flight control systems, airframe, landing gear, and engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure aircraft systems are functioning properly
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Document maintenance activities and record-keeping
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least four years of recent verifiable experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, including flight control systems, airframe, landing gear, and engines
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including blueprints and schematics
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The work environment will be in a hangar or outdoor setting, with exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors.
