We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Tyonek Native Corporation. As an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of aircraft systems, including flight control systems, airframe, landing gear, and engines.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure aircraft systems are functioning properly
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
- Document maintenance activities and record-keeping
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least four years of recent verifiable experience in aircraft maintenance
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, including flight control systems, airframe, landing gear, and engines
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including blueprints and schematics
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The work environment will be in a hangar or outdoor setting, with exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors.
