Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and caring babysitter to provide high-quality care for two children in our home. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, handle basic child-related chores, and prioritize the well-being of the children.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in the children.
  • Engage in various activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor games, to stimulate their curiosity and creativity.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and meals, considering the dietary needs and preferences of the children.
  • Assist with homework and educational activities, encouraging a love for learning.
  • Establish a daily routine that includes regular times for sleep, exercise, and relaxation.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare, with a focus on caring for children of similar ages.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with children in a positive manner.
  • First aid and CPR certification, with prior experience in emergency situations an asset.
  • A flexible schedule that allows for adaptability and flexibility.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Estimated Salary Range

$40,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience.
