About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at the J.D. McCarty Center. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy services to children with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians and Direct Care Staff in the implementation of ABA Therapy principles.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct behavioral assessments, and develop specific behavior plans based on patient needs.
  • Identify behavior strategies and interventions to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and others, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Participate in weekly Physician Staffing and monthly Neurology Clinic meetings to report on client data and discuss recommendations for behavior modifications.
  • Facilitate training, supports, and resources for inpatient and outpatient families and caregivers.
  • Consult with families, caregivers, and other service providers, and deliver on- and off-site training as necessary.
  • Attend JDMC functions related to promotional outings and marketing events for ABA-related services.
  • Monitor billing information, data collection, and daily session notes submitted by staff.
  • Assist the Director of ABA Services and the ABA Program Manager with outpatient ABA wait lists, including parent interviews, collaboration with schools and other therapies, conducting assessments, and insurance requirements.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call shifts to provide phone support to staff in assisting patients with challenging behaviors.
Requirements
  • Maintain current certifications, including Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), QBS Safety Care, and CPR/First Aid.
  • Have strong time management skills and the ability to think quickly in unexpected situations.
  • Be able to assist with lifting, holding, or positioning clients with disabilities, and participate in physical activities such as standing, bending, and stooping.
