We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Physician to join our team at Altru Health System. As a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with various gastrointestinal conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Counsel patients on preventative healthcare measures and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices
- Exercise professional judgment in diagnosing and treating patients, consistent with Altru's policies and standards
- Achieve patient engagement and quality and safety goals, as established by the department
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure quality patient care and reimbursement
- Doctorate in a relevant field of medical practice from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in gastroenterology, with certification within five years of employment
- Valid medical license in North Dakota and/or Minnesota, depending on the location of the practice
This position requires frequent sitting, occasional standing, walking, and reaching. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
