The Senior Manager of Retail and Loyalty Partnerships is a pivotal member of the Global Technology team, responsible for the comprehensive development and enhancement of our eCommerce platforms as well as the execution of Loyalty Partnership Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sprint planning sessions, utilizing design tools for front-end design reviews and project management software for functional requirements, to obtain approvals for sprint initiatives.

  • Understand internal resources and contacts to effectively manage vendor evaluations and contract approvals through the Global Technology Governance processes.

This position demands exceptional project management capabilities and the aptitude to navigate a complex organizational structure, efficiently managing multiple stakeholder relationships and competing priorities.

The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, designers, and developers, converting enhancement requests into actionable development tasks while ensuring a thorough understanding of user experience (UX) and backend functionalities to promote collaborative refinement of designs and requirements.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience:

  • A 4-year degree from an accredited institution, ideally in a technology and business discipline or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in retail, eCommerce, sales and marketing, management operations, or a related professional field.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies is preferred.
  • Proficient in essential software tools, including project management and documentation platforms.
  • Strong presentation skills for creating impactful presentations to effectively communicate ideas and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting tools to ensure informed decision-making and project tracking.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Functional Product Ownership:

  • Maintain a well-organized product backlog of features, including refined user stories with robust technical solutions ready for development.
  • Assist in refining new product features and optimizing existing ones, integrating them into the product backlog.
  • Support the development of eCommerce product requirements and the product roadmap.
  • Present the internal customer's scope to impacted product and technical teams through high-level presentations and use cases.
