Job SummaryThe Night Auditor is a critical role within Avion Hospitality, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions during the overnight shift. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Auditing and Reporting: Conduct daily audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, including balancing transactions, preparing daily reports, and identifying any discrepancies.
- Security and Safety: Perform security walks to ensure the hotel's premises are secure and safe for guests and staff.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks, such as preparing and distributing reports, maintaining records, and performing other duties as required.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently; proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing; effective communication and customer service skills.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with frequent interaction with guests and staff; ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
